Magnus Chase and his friends are enjoying life in Valhalla, the norse heaven afterlife still life thing with super muscles. They go on a suicide quest to find one of the most powerful weapons in the nine worlds, Thor's hammer, which he loses a lot. They fall into a trap set by the evil ‘god’, Loki who tries to steal another one of the most powerful weapons, and Thor’s hammer.
