This book is about a girl named Serafina and her
Dokimi, which is where she’ll see if she is the
true princess. Everything is going great! But
then Serafina’s mother, the queen gets shot
with an arrow Serafina and her best friend,
Neela get captured. The two girls have to
escape and get back to Serafina’s place.
Along the way there are unexpected twists
and turns. They also meet new people,
and make new friends.
If you like mystery, action, and mermaids then you will love
this book! This book’s mystery element is who shot the arrow,
and who captured the mergirls. The action element is how the
mergirls are trying to get back to Serafina’s place, and how they
are escaping from whoever took them. The mermaid element is t
hat nearly every character is a mermaid / merman. This book is
also great for those of you who like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's
Stone, because Deep Blue involves some magic, and some
mythical creatures.
I rate this book four and one half stars because the
opening was very confusing to me, but once I got into the
book it all started to make sense. This book really grabbed
my attention. It had exciting twists, and turns. This book is
fantastic, and I highly recommend it!---Review by Clara B.
