his rank. If it is high enough he will have
everything. If it is too low he will be hunted
by people known as cullers. After testing
day Al runs away trying to cross the thumb
as he is trying to get to Brighton and he
meets some friends along the way as they
together try to escape. Al’s dad had already
known what Al’s rank would be so after testing
day he packed a bag full of little anything,
food, money, and a metal scabbard. I enjoyed this book because
I love adventure books and this book is full of adventure.
Some parts of this book move a little faster than I am comfortable
with, which is why I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend
this book to people who like Fantasy books, adventures, and
strange characters that aren’t in every book--Review by Lucas A.
