Skeleton Creek: The Crossbones (Ryan's Journal) by Patrick Carman

Image result for book cover cross bones. I think this book deserves 4 ½ stars because it was a good book
but there was not as much horror as I thought. Plus the scariest part was the videos that
the book gives passwords for and you can watch at Sarahfincher.com. The books' main
characters are Ryan and Sarah. Sarah moves away and together, she and Ryan solve clues
so Sarah can drive around the country and solve the puzzle of the crossbones. On their
journey, Ryan faces keeping the trip a secret while doing his job at his dad's fly shop
and fishing competitions. Sarah not only has to face keeping the real reason for her
trip a secret, but also graves, creepy schools and much more.
If you enjoy this kind of book then you should read the rest of the series including
Skeleton Creek, Ghost in the Time Machine, The Raven, and The Phantom Room. I
n addition, Patrick Carman has written another series, which is more of a mystery series,
and the first book in that series is called The Dark Hills Divide and that series is a 4 book
series. One thing that I think the author could have done better in Crossbones would have
been to make the book a little more detailed but apart from that, it was a good book overall
