Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell

This book  is a adventure book and is about survival on an island alone with no help. I like this book because it is just about a girl trapped on an island alone for a long period of time but it finds a way to be new and exciting every page. It is very in depth because there is only one character talking and the writing is very descriptive. It has a good story in it to with all the animals and other things on the island.
