comes to town, his life is anything but normal.  Mr. Lemoncello offers an opportunity for some kids to
compete in a contest in his new and amazing library, and Kyle just has to enter.  He races to the end -
but will he win the promised prizes and fame?

I liked the book because Chris Grabenstein made it fun and exciting, making you want to read and
find out more.  My favorite character is Mr. Lemoncello because he’s really fun and wacky.

If you like libraries, racing, and most of all, humor, I recommend this book for you!

Thea Stilton and the Ghost of the Shipwreck by Thea Stilton is about five friends, named Pamela,
Nicky, Paulina, Violet, and Colette, are all mice.The five friends want to attend a lecture by a
marine biologist, and the marine biologist who did the lecture also told all of the mice that he was
going to meet them all at a beach, but he doesn’t show up! Will the five friends find him in time
for the meeting?

My favorite character is Nicky, because she is the most adventurous of the group and has a
great personality! If you like Geronimo Stilton books, you’ll also love this book!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is an amazing fantasy book by Roald Dahl. This book is about a little boy named Charlie, who wins the Golden
Ticket! That means that he has a 1 in 5 chance to win a lifetime
supply of chocolate. Together, he and his grandpa go on an exciting
journey through Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory!

I liked this book because it is funny, and it is really interesting as well.
My favorite character is Charlie because he is caring, and he is
nice to everyone even though they’re not nice to him.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes The BFG, The Fantastic
Mr. Fox, James and the Giant Peach, The Twits, or The Witches.
If you like any of those books, then you will love this one!

BraveLands: Broken Pride by Erin Hunter

BraveLands: Broken Pride #1 by Erin Hunter is a fantasy book about 3 totally different animals that band together to save their homes.  The story starts with a lion that has been cast out of his pride joins a congress of baboons. He becomes friends with one of the baboons, who is rebelling against his destiny of being a simple, low-rank baboon. Later they meet an elephant who can read the bones of the dead and who can help them save the Savanna.

I loved how the author changed the narrator's  perspective with each chapter because you got to experience different viewpoints.  If you have read any of Erin Hunter’s books, then I am sure you will like this one.   If you like animal stories, I am sure you will like this too.

Framed by James Ponti

Framed is realistic fiction book and about a major theft at national museum of art. Four of the world’s most valuable paintings have been stolen! Twelve year olds Florian Bates and Margret have to solve the case using T.O.A.S.T. which is the abbreviation for the Theory Of All Small Things. The book is very suspenseful in parts and exciting in others. I recommend this book for people who like Stuart Gibbs and Rick Riordan as authors.

City of Ember by Jeanne DePrau

The City of Ember is about a girl named Lina Mayfleet and a boy named Doon Harrow who try to find their way out of the city they live in called Ember. Since Ember is a city with no natural light, the people must rely on street lamps that give off a yellow glow. But now that the lamps are starting to flicker and long blackouts are starting to happen, it's up to Lina and Doon to figure out the clues they already have and crack the code before it's too late.  Will they find the way out? Or will Ember be surrounded by darkness forever?

      I liked this book because although you were reading science fiction, it really didn’t seem like it. At the end, there is a lot of suspense that hooks you on. That is good because you want to know what will happen next.

I recommend this book to people who like realistic fiction mixed with science fiction. If you like those genres, you should consider reading this book.

Surviving High School by Lele Pons

Surviving High School is about a famous Vine star named Lele Pons. It’s a fiction story about Lele’s high school years, but it’s based on Lele’s real life so it’s more of a fiction memoir.

In this book Lele goes to a new school, feeling lonely and timid, she got because of her smarts and looks, but she still made two new friends. One of which she has a crush on. She didn’t like how she look so she changed it and became popular, not only because of her look change, but also because she was getting REALLY popular on a site called Vine and the girl who bullied her became her friend. Everything was going great, until her crush’s gf came back. Will she get her real dream or will it be stolen forever?

My favorite part was when Lele started to get very popular on Vine and at school. I like this part because people finally start to realize how awesome Lele is.

People who like comedy and crush stories should read this book. Plus if you like Lele Pons I strongly recommend that you read this book!
